Makings of a Profile - Location & Keywords

I’ve added the option to update your profile location and also list some keywords for yourself.  Keywords should be separated by a comma.

Makings of a Profile

I’ve started to put together the makings of a profile and posted the initial draft online.  There’s nothing special up there now, but I’ll continue to add to it over time!

For now you can see:

• Profile Pic (if user sets it)
• Useless profile information
• Last 10 Rants
• PTH Guess Game
• PTH Challenge overall and Head to Head results

You can either view a user’s profile by entering a userid on http://www.pickthehottie.com/myprofile.asp or click on a user’s name on the Rant Wall.

Right now the plans do not include blowing it out with info similar to that found on Facebook or MySpace, but you’ll probably be able to add Keywords/Interests in the near future.  Also, private messaging should be coming soon!

Added so mousing-over thumbmail images will bring up a full-size picture.  I think it’s pretty cool.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, been extremely busy with work lately.  I hope to be able to make some more changes in the coming weeks.

I’ve heard from a couple people that the site is getting pretty confusing with all the new additions.  I’ve added a help page to help explain some of the features.  What do you guys think?

Forums…?

QTPIE had a great suggestion to add forums to the site.  What do you guys think?  I like the idea… what kinda of topics would you guys like to see?

I’ve changed the name of “Hottie Factor Rating” to “RateTheHottie”. I think this makes a bit more sense and goes in line with PickTheHottie & RankTheHottie.

Also, I’ve added the option to select what items you Rate on. This makes it a bit more user friendly and not so overwhelming. What do you guys think?

Hottie Factoring Rating!!

Instead of Rating Hottie’s by their best Hottie Factor, now you can rate hotties from 1 to 5. All the Hottie Factors (except Total Package) are included in the rating page. Rate all or none (not sure why you’d want to, but you can!) hottie factors between 1 and 5. Do your ratings line up?

RTH by Rank

I have added the option to set the minimum and maximum rank for the hotties you want to rank on RTH.   The difference between min and max must be 200… other than that, the choice is yours!  Go at it!

Rate by Hottie Factor

Sometimes you’re just on the prowl to look at some hotties?  Well we’ve added a new page, “Hottie Factor” to let you rate one hottie at a time on his/her hottest quality.  Don’t be afraid to use the “NONE” option if the hottie is undeserving… although we think all our hotties have something to offer
